Being healed isn’t about feeling nothing. Being healed is about feeling the appropriate emotions at the appropriate times and still being able to come back to yourself. That’s just life.

More about me:

I have over 10 years experience in the field. I hold a BSc in Psychology from the University of Aberdeen, where I also obtained the COSCA Counselling Skills Diploma. I completed my Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at Trinity College Dublin in 2020. I am registered with the HCPC and am a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland.

My professional experience includes working in a hospital clinic supporting clients with chronic pain, the Trinity Student Counselling Service, and Jigsaw Dublin South West / Dublin City, a youth mental health charity. I have worked with individuals across the lifespan who present with a wide range of difficulties, including disordered eating, neurodiversity, intergenerational trauma, stress, depression, and anxiety. I am based in Sweden and currently work as a consultant for a digital mental health provider.

My personal experiences give me an appreciation for how daunting it can feel to begin therapy, and I aim to make that first step a little easier. I also understand how challenging it can be to move through the world when your mind and body feel disconnected or when stress becomes overwhelming. I know that when attending therapy, you don’t just want a skilled professional but someone who genuinely understands.

I will be offering psychosomatic therapy, with my work guided by Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and attachment theory. These approaches supports you in understanding your patterns, building emotional resilience, and reconnecting with yourself in grounded, meaningful ways. I will provide you with skills that you can continue to employ long after our work is done.

I can support you with:

• Ongoing physical symptoms connected to stress or emotional distress (e.g., chronic pain/illness, sleep difficulties, IBS)
• Neurodiversity
• Anxiety and depression
• Self-esteem and self-worth concerns
• Disordered eating and concerns related to body image
• Attachment patterns and relationship difficulties
• Cultural identity exploration and culturally related stressors

My approach is culturally sensitive, inclusive, and trauma-informed. I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels authentic, warm, and safe.
